Kinetic supports the Deputy Chief Management Officer (DCMO), the principle advisor to the Secretary of Defense for matters relating to the management and improvement of integrated defense business operations. We support the DCMO in leading the synchronization, integration, and coordination of the DoD’s business functions (i.e. financial management, acquisition, logistics HR management) to ensure optimal alignment in support of national security. We employ the power of enterprise architecture to guide and constrain business transformation. We lead the planning, development, maintenance, and use of the Department’s Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA). The BEA, required by statute, is utilized by the Department to guide and inform defense business system investment decisions of more than $7B annually. The BEA is the “blueprint” for the Department’s business operations and reflects the Department’s enterprise level business priorities and the business capabilities required to support achieving those priorities.
The Kinetic team supported the Enterprise Planning & Investment division at the Business Transformation Agency (BTA) via Enterprise Resource Planning subject matter experts who developed data standards now instituted in policy; which guides the development of all ERP system implementations in the financial management and real property arenas within the BTA.
Kinetic provided process mapping, data cleansing, operation and training support for the US Army’s new web-enabled financial, asset and accounting management system for the Directorate of Resources Management at Fort Meade. The Army's General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) is an SAP based Enterprise Resource Planning System that standardizes, streamlines and shares critical data across the U.S. Army. The Kinetic team was awarded an additional contract to perform post-Go Live training and help desk support for the customer.
The Kinetic team successfully led the implementation of TRIRIGA, an integrated system that manages the lifecycle of real estate assets on a single platform. We provided analytical, business process, technical, data migration and software development support, resulting in a solution that integrated the Capital Projects, Real Estate Management, Space Management, and Facility Maintenance modules of TRIRIGA. The solution enabled the client to have a single database of record using data entered by the authoritative source one time and used in multiple ways. This improves data quality, timeliness and tracking, enabling better decision making and improving overall operational efficiency. The outcome was a single solution for all real property information that is auditable, transparent and credible. Cost savings were realized by replacing manual, redundant and expensive systems that require excessive man power to manage.
Kinetic supported a federal client in implementing a Hazardous Materials Process Controls and Information Management business process reengineering initiative. Chemicals are contained in numerous products used throughout the customer’s operations and hazardous materials, in particular, can pose significant risks to the overall mission. The BPR effort ensured that appropriate information is available to manage these risks during daily business operations. The initiative resulted in a hazardous materials management process that is controlled and protective of people, property, environment, and mission capability.
